The Highlander Plus Sun Shade combo fly rug is designed for sun-sensitive horses requiring protection against biting insects. Featuring an extended neck for fly and sun protection even during grazing, Airstream side panels facilitate the free transfer of air to keep the horse cool. The rug includes a large belly flap, over-the-poll hood with ear holes, and an extra-large pleated tail flap, ensuring maximum coverage.
Key features comprise 90% UV blocking*, breathable ripstop upper, Airstream side panels, elongated neck with ear holes, belly flap for full coverage, deep shoulder gussets, buckle chest straps, large pleated tail flap, and adjustable fillet strap and leg strap loops. It's important to note that the effectiveness of the rug may diminish over time, and the test was carried out following BS EN 13758-1:2002+A1:2006 standards.
