We would like to reassure all our customers that during these challenging times, as far as processing and despatching orders goes, it is ‘business as usual’ here at The Saddlery Shop.
We are continuing to take all our responsibilities to both our staff and our customers very seriously, and continue to monitor and adhere to the advice and recommendations from the Government, BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association), and the FSB (Federation of small Businesses).
We are still working closely with all of our suppliers who are also monitoring the situation closely, and almost all are still able to trade as normal, so we still do not foresee any major supply issues at this time, but some lead times for items that have to be ordered in may increase slightly.
You can still order online or by phone, and we are still able to offer an optional next day service in additional to free delivery on orders over £75 to most ares of the UK at the moment. Ordering online is by far the quickest and easiest way to place an order with us at the moment, but if you do need help, you can still contact us by phone and we will be more than happy to put your order through for you.
Our couriers (both domestic and international) have also confirmed that they are continuing to work as usual, but with their drivers having been advised and supplied with the appropriate measures to ensure tighter hygiene and keeping risks of transmission to an absolute minimum.
All our delivery partners are now using contactless delivery. If you have any special requirements, just pop a note in the shipping box during checkout. There may occasionally be very slight delays to delivery times stated, but so far these have not been frequent or significant, but we thank you for your patience if this does occur during this very difficult time.
We understand that it may be more difficult to make returns to us at the moment, and we are more the happy to extend our usual returns period for anyone that needs to for any reason. Just drop us an email within 14 days of receipt of your order, let us know your order number and what you intend to return, and we can make a note on your order to extend the period you have to get your return back to us until 31st May 2020.
We are incredibly grateful to all our customers for their support during this very challenging time, and in turn we are still here to support you as much as possible. You can still ring or email us for help, advice, or to place and order as usual, and specialist hoof boot enquiries are still be answered through the hoof boot enquiry form as usual.
Our customer service staff are now working from home to keep them as safe as possible, so we may need to periodically slightly reduce our phone hours to ensure we can get back to everyone in a timely manner. However, they will still be available from at least 10am - 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). If in doubt, give us a call- there will always be up to date information on the phones for you to hear, and if you leave a message we will always call you back as soon as we can during working hours.
