The Stromsholm TS High Stud is for use on firm ground, for showing, eventing and jumping. The TS high hard ground stud gives penetration and grip without jarring compared to square studs. These hard ground studs are made with a Tungsten core. When using any pointed stud care should be taken when using them on the inside of the horse shoe if the horse is a close mover. A stud guard is recommended when pointed studs are used in the front shoes to protect the horses stomach.
