The 18mm KK conrad ultra universal is a popular bit for showjumping. Ideal if your horse goes well in the KK ultra on the flat, the KK universal will give some poll pressure and greater control but with the same familiar feel in the mouth for the horse. The KK ultra snaffle has a mouthpiece made from the revolutionary patented material Aurigan, which works like no other metal. Aurigan is a copper based material that oxidises to produce a pleasant and distinctive taste that horses love, and encourages a soft relaxed jaw, wet mouth and quick acceptance of this Sprenger bit. The University of Hanover has proven through a long term study that Aurigan, containing silicon and being nickle free, combines the oxidation advantages of copper but with maximum strength and durability. The ergonomically designed mouthpiece of the Sprenger KK ultra snaffle bit is shaped to lie unobtrusively in the horses mouth resulting in a soft and even pressure on the entire tongue area, encouraging the horse to accept the contact willingly and in a relaxed manor.
