The Hoofeeze boot is a fantastic hoof boot from New Zealand, now finally available in the UK from UK stock! This very versatile hoof boot originated as a very tough and sturdy poultice boot but has been also used by very sore newly barefoot horses that have been too difficult to boot with a conventional hoof boot. Not intended for ridden work, but has been used sucessfully for turnout and walking out- can be used with solemates, pads, poultice etc or on its own. Very soft and pliable breathable neaoprene with a supple but tough upper sole and sturdy patterned sole. The Hoofeeze boot is a strong and durable boot which will assist in the healing of hoof ailments, such as poulticing for stone bruising or hoof abscesses and other infections without the need for bandaging. The epitome of poultice boots, and an ideal transitioning boot for barefoot horses.
The Hoofeeze poultice Boot has a tough but flexible rubber sole with a neoprene sleeve vulcanized to the internal surface. The neoprene cuff allows stretching for ease of fitting but comfort and mobility when fastened. Closure of the boot is achieved by securing a Velcro tab and straps ensuring a skin-tight fit, which is flexible and breathable and almost impossible to remove by accident. A major advantage of the boot is the ability to maintain a clean environment for the repair of the hoof ailment in a range of ground conditions. It is also Machine washable!
