Eggbutt snaffle with jointed mouthpiece, made from stainless steel using the investment cast, lost wax method for the highest quality finish. Some horses often Arab or thoroughbred type, dislike a single joint as they have a low palette, in this case a french link or double jointed mouthpiece often keeps the horse relaxed in his mouth more than a single joint. The eggbutt jointed snaffle is thought to be one of the simplest bits, and can be good for novice riders as the eggbutt cheek prevents too much vibration from the riders rein being felt by the horse.
