Cavallo sport hoof boots are the new version of the Cavallo simple hoof boot which has been designed to fit a hoof without a metal shoe. The cavallo sport hoof boot is designed to replace metal shoes, and designed to fit a slightly longer than wide hoof, but not a very round or wider than long hoof. The width of the boot is approx 5mm less than the length. They have a wide opening at the top so care should be taken in deep mud and heavy going. Easycare have just released the Easyboot trail boot (see associated products) which we are finding fits a greater variety of shapes and sizes and stays on in all conditions.
