    The Myler low port pelham is one of the most popular pelhams for showing as it has a very neat cheek and keeps the horse soft and responsive. The 26 04 combines the poll pressure of a traditional pelham with the comfort snaffle mouthpiece which acts on tongue and corners of the bars, gently wrapping lips, but the port gives more tongue relief when the bit is not engaged by the rider. The action of the curb is slightly reduced due to the partly collapsible mouthpiece, which is ideal for sensitive horses that have a tendency to be strong.
